To my dear Uncle Chuck

You are the greatest Great Uncle a girl could ask for. Aunt Janet and you were more like grandparents to me. I can't possibly thank you for all of the things you have taught me over the years.

First, that family comes first. Time and money spent on family is well spent. The memories of all our family vacations are some of my fondest memories. Gulf Shores will always be a second home to me. I hope I make memories for my family, like you made for us.

You also pushed me towards college and helped motivate me to continue my education. Not many people in my family had gone to college. I felt so supported every time you checked in. Dave and I are working hard to build our retirement so we can enjoy the world like you have!

Finally, I will always remember your love for Aunt Janet. I hope that Dave and I grow a love as strong as yours. You both set a wonderful example of a loving relationship with lots of fun and laughter. Thank you for being at my wedding, as hard as it was without your dance partner at your side. I know she was with us in spirit. I hope you know that you are very loved. You may be big and tough, but I know how much you care about all of us. Every time we dip our toes in the Gulf, I'll think of my wonderful Great Uncle Chuck.
